The NYS comptroller oversees the state’s pension fund, state retirement system, internal audits for NYC and local finances, maintains payroll/accounting system, and investigates cases of fraud, waste and financial abuse.

The Comptroller's office released an official statement on Nov 23 that Mr. DiNapoli had sent letters to 50 major portfolio companies (Meta Platforms inc, Microsoft Corp, etc) urging them to support the Ant-Defamation League's (ADL) Workplace Pledge to Fight Antisemitism.
He also announced this action at the "Stand with Israel" event at the Hampton Synagogue in Westhampton Beach the previous Saturday.
