In his Instagram video on December 14, 2023, Hofstetter argues against a ceasefire by claiming that there was a ceasefire on October 6th, implying that it was Hamas that violated a ceasefire agreement and therefore justifying Israel's siege on Gaza. His statement is misleading given that Israel has routinely bombed Gaza and violated many ceasefire agreements and is also entirely responsible for choosing to indiscriminately bomb Gaza starting October 8, 2023.
On Facebook he wrote the following on October 30, 2023: And let me add: if you read this and your response is to say "free Palestine" or "from the river to the sea" or anything else that uses this horrific war to justify anti-Semitism, I don't want you as a fan.
