Sarah Silverman made a post justifying Israel's use of collective punishment of cutting off water and electricity to all civilians in Gaza. She later retracted the post saying that she made it in a "stoned fury". If you didn't know, marijuana does not make you more likely to defend war crimes. Sarah Silverman did that herself despite the influence of drugs.

In the middle of October, Silverman posted on Instagram in which she thinks it's somehow not "inhumane that Israel is cutting off water/electricity to Gaza" before straight-up saying "Israel does not need to supply Gaza with these resources."
On October 11, 2023, Silverman left the Democratic Socialists of America after the organization came out against the genocide of the Palestinian people. Instead of simply departing, Silverman also decided to post on Instagram calling the DSA an "arrogant, ignorant, piece of s*** group," demonstrating how little she cares about Palestinian people in that she's willing to attack those who are fighting to prevent the Palestinians' genocide.
