Kim Tae-hyung is widely known by his stage name V. He is a singer and songwriter, a record producer, and an actor under Big Hit Music, an agency from South Korea. With his music group, BTS, Taehyung is a vocalist.

V was recently appointed as a Coca-Cola ambassador and been promoting it towards his millions of Instagram followers. He also went as far to tag their official account and left a comment saying "no one likes Coke more than me". Coca-Cola is on the official BDS Boycott list.
His fans did bring it to his attention by trying to educate him on the genocide in Gaza. His response however is to turn off his comment section and actively promoting Coca-Cola in between his posts and Instagram story. The fans that do support him are the younger followers that are buying Coca-Cola as his collaboration includes photo cards that his fans are purchasing, therefore benefitting Coca-Cola.
