POLITICS
NJ Representative and war crime apologist Josh Gottheimer stands out one of the most pro genocide voices in Washington. It should come to no surprise that he is propped up heavily by pro-Zionist and pro-Gazacaust lobbying organizations such as AIPAC, even coming in as one of AIPAC's top 10 recipients.
He opposes any condititions to aid for Israel, even going as far as to side with Republicans in backing an ultiamtely rejected bill that, if implemented, would have both resulted in massive tax cuts for the ultra wealthy and would have given Israel billions of dollars in unconditional aid money so that they can continue glassing hospitals, shooting journalists and starving children to death.
Gottheimer has also made Islamophobic remarks back in October of 2023, shortly after the Gazacaust began, has attempted to have pro-Palestinian voices at New Jersey colleges censored, and has targeted students at Teaneck High School who took part in a walkout in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
He also voted in favor of H.R. 6090, which threatens to censor political speech critical of Israel on college campuses under the guise of addressing antisemitism. The ACLU has warned this bill could pressure colleges and universities to restrict student and faculty speech critical of the Israeli government and its military operations out of fear of the college losing federal funding.
Josh Gottheimer is an always has been unrelenting in his apologia for Israeli atrocities, smugly and insufferably positioning himself as a levelheaded 'bipartisan moderate' which of course always just means capitulating to only the most extreme right wing Zionist policies proposed by the most bloodthristy and imperialist contingents of the GOP. He has been more willing to side with the apartheid State of Israel, which draws support from antisemitic Christian Fundamentalists, Lebanese Falangists and Hindutva Fascists than he is with anti-Zionist Jews.
Josh Gottheimer is the epitome of the phrase 'scratch a liberal, and a fascist bleeds'. If he were alive in the 1930s, he would be standing with Nazi Germany's 'right to defend itself' against Poland and the Empire of Japan's 'right to defend itself' against China. Just as he is standing with Israel's 'right to defend itself' as the IDF continues its campaign of genocidal slaughter against the people of Gaza.
In 2020, Josh Gottheimer took $19500 from pro-Israel PACs such as AIPAC. Josh Gottheimer also took $186595 from pro-Israel individuals.
