JOURNALISM
Fleischhauer wrote the article "Die Juden oder die Aggro-Araber: Wir müssen uns entscheiden, wen wir halten wollen" (English translation: The Jews or the Aggro-Arabs: We have to decide who we want to keep) which is published on the news media outlet Focus on November 16, 2023. In this article, Jan Fleischhauer argues that Germany must "choose" between "protecting its Jewish citizens" or tolerating the "anti-Semitic and violent behavior of some Muslim immigrants" (pro-Palestinian supporters). That means he wants the German people to support Israel. He also forces the German government to enforce the law and stop the pro-Palestinian demonstrations, which he has claimedto be "anti-Semitic/pro-Hamas demonstrations" as well as the "hordes of enthusiastic Hamas fans parade through German city centers". He also emphasizes the pro-Palestinian protests in several German cities with huge Arab population like Berlin, Essen, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and also adds Islamophobic content such as "But before anyone waves the IS flag at the Marienplatz (one famous square in Munich),..." or "It doesn't look as if the caliphate will break out tomorrow." He also claims in his article that the "Jewish people" can stay in Germany unlike other people, especially the Arabs and Muslims. He has defended the Starbucks founder Howard Schultz and also Schultz's Jewish faith. With this statements, he condemns the boycott on Starbucks. He also quotes several German politicians (Till Steffen, the former Hamburg justice senator; Olaf Scholz; Nancy Faeser, the German interior minister) who share similar views about this genocide. He also emphasizes the "Muslim antisemitism" by quoting "taz", a left-wing German news outlet, due to the slow naturalization in Germany and accuses some news media outlets of blaming antisemitism on the right-wing groups instead. He relates "Muslim antisemitism" to the pro-Palestinian supporters even though Arabs (Palestinians) belong to the Semitic people. Overall, his article is also biased in favor of Israel.
Also on his website, he has repeatedly written articles against pro-Palestinian supporters.
