James Maslow has taken Birthright trips to Israel. He was invited by the Ministry of Tourism to promote tourism in Israel. He shares Zionist propaganda on his Instagram page. He also has shown support for the IDF and has taken pictures with the soldiers. Following the October 7th attack, he uploaded an Instagram post captioned “I stand with Israel.” He also wrote on his Instagram story saying he was traveling for a "good cause". He then revealed he had arrived in Israel donning a press vest, the same vest Palestinian journalists are killed for wearing. James also shared a post from “No Hostage Left Behind”, an organization which blames the genocide in Palestine on Hamas and repeats debunked Israeli propaganda.
