He sent a letter to the Presidents of Canada’s 25 biggest universities. Hr asked them how they are tackling the rise of #antisemitism on campus & whether a call for genocide against Jews violates their Code of Conduct. The call for genocide he is referring to is "from the river to the sea, palestine will be free".
He disagreed with Canada's vote for a ceasefire in Gaza claiming that any cessation of hostilities requires Hamas to release all hostages and lay down arms and surrender. Complete disregard for innocent civilian lives in Gaza.
He was present at the Pro-Israel rally in Ottawa and did a speech there. Why would he need to be present and speak at a pro-israeli march when said govt is committing indescriminate bombings on civilians. He is trying to legitimize genocide.
