Steinberg recently wrote the opinion article "Kim Would be a Disaster for the American – Israel Alliance". In which he states clearly his Zionist position.

Additionally, as Bernie Sanders finally begins to push back on Israel and call for a humanitarian pause, Steinberg tweeted "I use the following language DELIBERATELY. Bernie Sanders is a SELF HATING JEW who would have been a perfect JUDENRAT member. His proposals will endanger Israel’s security to a frightening extent and facilitate the terror of Iran and its allies."

Steinberg also wrote the following "There is a new fashionable antisemitism of the Left distorting the picture of the Israeli-Hamas war, trying to villainize Netanyahu as a war criminal and depict the inhumane Hamas terrorists as freedom fighters. History has its claims, however, and in the end, regardless of his dubious past, Netanyahu will be proven to have implemented war policies that were both correct and necessary."
