Steve Vladeck is a co-host of The National Security Law podcast with the Dean of The University of Texas at Austin's School of Law, Bobby Chesney. In episode 243 "Boiled Froggy Water Under the Bridge" the two of them engage in genocide apologism. Vladeck defends Israel's bombing of hospitals using the abhorrent "human shields" excuse. Regarding the civilian death toll Vladeck says, "there was a statistic today that some IDF spokesperson said that like by their estimates somewhere around 80% of casualties in Gaza have been non-combatants, right, but like... and that's a horrifying statistics Bobby BUT out of context it is impossible to say ergo Israel's response is disproportionate." The entire episode is the two of them defending acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing.
