In November 2015, Ricki Lake and her partner vacationed in occupied Palestine and promoted Zionist scientists growing cannabis on the land they stole from Palestinians. Lake has suggested the Zionist entity is progressive due its cannabis production. Lake stated her talk show was extremely popular with the Zionist entity. In October 2023, Lake framed Zionist settlers as innocent victims, and stated Palestinians were oppressed by their liberators. Lake did not condemn the lOF's massacres of Palestinians.
